Dear all,

System : Debian Squeeze with rep.

deb ftp://ftp.mondorescue.org/debian/ 6.0 contrib

I used the following line command for mondoarchive :

mondoarchive -O -d /classic/ -N -p classic005 -n 192.168.0.2:/home/backup/mondo-nfs

Everything went fine until the restore via PXE / NFS :

rpcbind: server localhost not responding, timed out

In fact, the restore process tries to mount the nfs share, but fails.
I checked the following :
- network fine (ping, etc...)
- any computer on the network can mount the nfs share

It looks like a bug in rpcbind : even the command line "start-netfs" at
the prompt gives the same error message

Thanks for your help !

THis has also been reported by another user here.
For me it seems like there is a change in the way this distrib/kernl/nfs
subsys is behaving.

Normally when you use -o nolock, such as our init script, you do not
have that issue.

Can you check that the loopback interface is up and configured correctly
?
Any other msg through dmesg or on the screen ?

What is the output of the mount command manually ? Any error code ?

Bruno.
